Administration of data recovery.
Stock It Easy pay particular attention to data backup. You can, in addition to automatic backups, give yourself backups and restores of the database.
Via the main menu in the Administration group, click Restore.
An earlier version of the database can be restored, if indeed this latest version is compatible with the current version of the application.
Therefore the main version (1st digit) and the minor version (2 and 3rd digits) of the application are identical between the database and restore the current application.
For example, a backup of the database version 5.00.01 can be restored to a version of 5.00.07 Stock It Easy, but not on version 5.01.00.
During a restoration, the restored database overwrites the database in progress.
Select the source to restore from an archive or automatic (visible only compatible versions), or from a directory where you made a manual backup.
Click "Restore".
MULTI USER MODE
If multiple users are connected, a warning message is displayed in the window restoration.
Make sure that no more user is in session at the time of restoration. If you restore a database and some users still block access to certain elements thereof, restoration may be performed partially, and may therefore become inconsistent or unstable.
