Administration of general settings of the software.


Via the main menu in the Administration group, click Settings

Select the tab "Settings"

Enable or not management opportunities


Some items are considered undervalued.

These items should be included as such in the stock.

When a client return, the item will be resumed at 50% (adjustable) value in the same article
weighted average price (WAP) than the new one if there are already in stock, if any, 50% of catalog value of the new one .

The used item has its own WAP.

When a customer order, we just sell him a new or used vehicle, if the mode "opportunities" is defined, the windows of the application will present the choice "New" or "
opportunities" each time it is required.

Language selection.

You can choose to use the program in French or English. This choice is unique to the current user on the workstation.

Billing by the weighted average price or sale price.

This choice is very important and depends on the purpose of using the software:

If you use the software to manage inventory and distribute it to your cost (eg in your branch), then choose the method of billing WAP.

If you make a trade with your stock, and you want to manage a different purchase price of your purchase price, then select the billing SP.

These choices can be changed during use of the program, but it is then very difficult to navigate. Moreover, an order created in a billing process can be re-opened in another.

The WAP is unique to the various storage locations and is therefore linked to the reference section.

Number of decimals.

By default, the application handles the inventory quantities at the unit.

For some types of articles, it is useful to manage the stock in 1 or 2 decimal places, such as items sold by the yard ...

Select the number of digits (0,1 or 2)  wanted, all application windows manager quantities will be adjusted.

Import the logo of your company.

If you want to import a logo that will be repeated on various print and on the main page of the software, import the logo in jpg format by clicking on the button "logo".

If you want a specific logo for a warehouse, do the same operation for the sheet to create the warehouse. All documents specific to the warehouse will be filled with its unique logo.

Managing user access.

If you're logged on as an administrator, you can choose not to manage the application access (default).

In this case, the ADMIN user will always be used by default, with administrative rights on the application.

Re-indexing the database.

By clicking this button, you reindex the database.

Depending on the size of it, this action may take a long time.

If you notice any delays or malfunctions in the application, you can do this action.

It is possible to force the re-indexing of the database at each launch of application:

Right click on the shortcut Stock It Easy

Select "Properties"

Add the word INDEX in "Target" as shown below:


Barcode reader.

Select the "Scanner".

If you want to work with using a bar code reader plugged into the USB port, select "USB", otherwise select "No" (default).

Document Management.

Select the tab 'Documents'.

Are managed by the data on invoices and credit notes.

It is possible:

  • To select the currency on invoices.
  • Choose the wording on invoices and credit notes.
  • Choose the numbering of invoices and credit notes.

Using network.

Select the tab "Network".

A message warns the user of the consequences of an update of a parameter when other users are connected to the database simultaneously.

Users.

Select the tab "Users"

Users simultaneously logged on the database are listed in the table.

A button "Delete" to erase information from a user logs in case the latter would be wrong. For example if the user's computer died ...
