Administration of the application structure.
Managing directories.
The executable is installed by default in a subdirectory "Stock It Easy" of the directory "Program files".
Are included in this directory:
* The executable
* Bookstores
* The initialization file
* The executable uninstall
* The help files
* Some files needed to run the application
The application data are stored in subdirectories of the file "Stock It Easy" created in "Documents and Settings \ All Users \ Application Data \".
Are included in this directory:
* The subdirectory "data"
* Any database application
* The subdirectory "data \ img"
* Pictures of items, the logos of various stores listed on the corresponding documents
* The subdirectory "log"
* The log files using the application
* The sub directory "archive"
* Files automatically back up the database
* The sub directory "template", currently unused
* The subdirectory "Synchro" and other subdirectories depending necessary for specific use cases
Management of the registry.
The data for the parameterization of the local user of the application are stored in the Windows registry, at the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Stock It Easy
Here we find:
* The user's language
* The choice of access management
* The parameters of the HMI application (size and position of windows etc.)
Management initialization file.
In the INI file are stored under the roads sub directories of the application and the deletion flag of the database instance.
Managing general parameters of the application.
Common settings for different users of the application are stored in the database.
The management of directories and the registry is respectful of the recommendations of the UAC (User Account Control) in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
For updated versions prior to version 5, it is possible that all the application directories are located in the installation directory (default "program files").
