Type of bar code reading
Stock It Easy reads two different types of bar code . We recommend reading the barcode European EAN13.
All readings will be based on the format specified here.
ean13
The EAN13 or European Article Number is the format most widely used bar code in Europe. This is the bar code used on the majority of products found in commerce.
If you choose this type of bar code and you use a bar code reader with the application, do not program a carriage return (also known as carriage return in the manuals of them) at the end of reading the software manages itself.
The software generates a barcode EAN13 automatically when creating the article, it is based on the reference section in Stock It Easy, recovery under the heading "Reference".
Barcode 39
This barcode is an older system, it is based on the characters entered in the "Reference Section" of the article. This reference must be unique within the database items. It can contain only numbers and uppercase letters.
