The management of stock items in some cases requires tracing and accurate monitoring of movements based on certain criteria.
The extension of “tracing and tracking” software inventory management Stock It Easy to manage easily track items in the input, output, the command to customers and suppliers.
You can describe a movement of stock for a quantity of an item given by:
- An identifier
- A date choice
- A second date choice
These three criteria are configurable, for example:
If you manage the storage of pharmaceutical items, you will certainly be interested to differentiate each entry and exit of stock by a batch number of manufacture.
In the case of managing the stock of computer components, the serial number will be an important criterion followed.
In the management of food, you’d probably interested by tracking expiration dates, and why not more, of the deadline for optimal use?

Tracking of the order
When you order items from the supplier, you can specify the parameters that determine the monitoring thereof, or the dice before the order or upon receipt (you probably know these caracteristics when receiving physical goods).
Once the supplier order is complete, the monitoring parameters are registered and assigned to items in their warehouses.
You can also enter the monitoring criteria such as you have configured in various entries, or, in the corrections of stock.
On the disposal of the item, you can select the batch to which it belongs, or in the customer order, either in an other outgoing, or in a correction of the stock (inventory update).

The software inventory management Stock It Easy allows detailed tracking of movements item by item. You can sort of know at all times which item is assigned to any batch, and details of all transactions relating to it.
Conversely, you can search movements (including controls) from the monitoring criteria encoded (batch, serial number, expiration date, second date, …).
You can also request to be notified of alerts for follow-up dates soon reached: you store perishable products, and wish to be informed of the products reaching their expiration date in a period you choose.
How to enable support for tracking / tracing in Stock It Easy?
The extension is available for free for the first 30 days after the setup of Stock It Easy, so you can test this feature.
After this period, to enable tracking management in Stock It Easy 5, it is necessary to buy an activation key extension “tracking and tracing”. This activation is complementary to the license agreement. If you do not need the license to use (because the functionality of the freeware version is enough for you), you can just buy the tracking and tracing extension.
This extension is valid for activating the extension “tracking and tracing” software Stock It Easy on a computer.
Upon receipt of your payment, you receive an email containing the activation keys ordered.
There is no additional download or install compared to Stock It Easy, simply open the License Management window in the menu / license on the main page.
Above the “submit” button, you select from the list “Extension tracking and tracing”, you enter your activation key and you click the button “OK”.
